We did our regular Wimberley gig on The first Saturday in April.  Hannah, Joe and Linda's 22 year old daughter, along with her sidekick, Aiden, worked with us all day and, providing excellent help and relief for Rusty and I.  Sales were good!

From Wimberley, we drove directly to Houston on Sunday for the early April appointments.  No appointments on Monday, so we caught our breath and spent a few hours at the Houston Zoo.

Tuesday we started at 8:00 AM and had appointments  through until 2 PM.  All went well.  The doc and her team are pleased with Rusty's condition, feel that the melanoma is subsiding and that his side effects are minimal and manageable.  Rusty has started to have extreme weakness in his legs and his legs fatigue easily.  They prescribed physical therapy at home...fortunately, we have a PT friend in Corpus, Cathy Pierce, so we will visit her later this week.  Some of his lab work is starting to show the effects of the toxic drugs he is taking, but so far, nothing serious.  He had his immunotherapy infusion this afternoon..,that will be every two weeks.  We'll be back in two weeks and I'll update you then.  Thanks for your thoughts, prayers,  cards and support!
